The Fireball Classic returns to Hollydot Golf Club on Friday, July 10.
Open to all players, the Fireball Classic is a one-day Skins and Greenies competition with tee times off #1 starting at 10:26 AM. If you’re already entered in the 2-Man Tournament, your Fireball Classic round is included in your entry fee — consider it your official practice round.
Entry $30 — Players entered in the 2-Man Tournament $60 — All other players Entry covers your green fee and entry into The Classic. Members, please check with the Pro Shop regarding your green fee and cart fee.
Format Gross AND Net Skins with Greenies on each par 3. Play is from the Blue Tees unless you qualify under one of the following:
- 72 Rule: If your age + handicap = 72 or greater, you may play from the White Tees.
- 85 Rule: If your age + handicap = 85 or greater, you may play from the Orange Tees.
90% of each player’s handicap will be used. Maximum handicap of 14; no shots given on par 3s. The committee reserves the right to adjust any participant’s handicap.
Calcutta Auction — Approximately 5:00 PM Immediately following play, we’ll hold the Calcutta auction for the 2-Man Tournament. This is your chance to buy teams and put some skin in the game before Saturday’s opening round.
